On November 9, a press conference of the new project for Russia Russia.Fur Fashion Week was held, organized with the support of the Russian Fur and Fur Union.

As part of the press conference, the Fur Fashion Week in Russia was presented, the announcing show of which will take place on November 22. The event, unique for the Russian market, is designed to present fur in a different quality - modern, technological, relevant in the world's megacities. Designers who appreciate and skillfully use all the variety of possibilities of fur will present their collections during the Week. In addition, in the showroom Russia.Fur Fashion Week project participants will be able to communicate with potential buyers.

At the conference Igor Shevchenko (exhibitions MosFur, CHEPEAU) and Alexey Semkin ("Soft Gold of Russia") presented projects that will allow fashion houses, designers, manufacturers to present their products both directly to buyers and market experts.

The most acute discussion was caused by the issue of manipulations that can now be observed in the media space regarding the dubious advantages of artificial fur. Coordinated actions of all market participants to carry out explanatory work and attract attention to fur, especially among young people, are also called a possible option for bringing correct information to buyers.

Representatives of the international fur auctions NAFA, Saga Furs, Kopenhagen Fur noted the need to consolidate the efforts of fur market participants in the popularization of fur, the involvement of young designers in the design of clothing using natural fur.

Designers Elena Shipilova, Viktor Constantinople and Angelika Shakirova shared their experience in developing author's fur collections, which were favorably accepted by the market.

At the end of the press conference, all participants noted the relevance and necessity of holding such meetings and joint marketing activities in order to promote fur both in Russia and abroad.
