Mobile app for New York Fashion Week
SAP and Badgley Mischka announced the launch of the Badgley Mischka Runway mobile application from SAP, allowing viewers to become full participants of New York Fashion Weekand evaluate in real time the collection presented on the podium. The app is available for installation on iPhone and iPad.
SAP is the official technology partner of New York Fashion Week and brings together innovative solutions for designers, media and the fashion community.
The application Badgley Mischka Runway featured exclusive details of each image from the collection Badgley Mischka Fall 2018, as well as the names of the models who participated in the show. With the help of the "like" and "love" functions, viewers of the show could vote for the image they liked and share their opinion. The accumulated real-time data Badgley Mischka will use for its future design solutions.
The app was created in partnership with SAP and Apple using the SAP Cloud Platform SDK for iOS. The SAP Fiori user interface is configured in the application and features for the Internet of Things based on SAP Leonardo are presented.

Right after the show Badgley Mischka SAP organized a discussion panel "Demystifying Digital: The Future of fashion now", which was attended by Jennifer Morgan (Board member SAP SE, responsible for global operations with clients), Mark Badgley and James Mishka (designers Badgley Mischka), as well as Coco Rocha (supermodel and entrepreneur). The main topic of the discussion was new technologies that not only become a catalyst for the development of the fashion industry, but also significantly simplify interaction with consumers of the new millennium.
