MCM will release a collection of bags made of vegan leather
The German brand MCM has completed two years of work on a new collection of bags made of innovative Mirum material. This capsule line includes vegan products that serve as an alternative to traditional leather.
Mirum is an environmentally friendly, plastic—free material developed by Natural Fiber Welding. It is completely recyclable and can be reused after the end of its service life. The material is characterized by high strength, flexibility and ease of care, and also has water-repellent properties.
The new collection features a vegan version of the classic MCM Himmel Shopper bag in black, available in two sizes. Mirum accessories will go on sale from November 4 in MCM stores around the world and on the brand's official website.

Vegan leather is a material that imitates leather, but is made from artificial or vegetable products instead of animal skins, such as cork, cactus, coffee, other fruit waste and recycled plastic.
In Russia, the trend towards vegan products as a more humane alternative to natural leather is only gaining momentum. Domestic manufacturers of eco-leather are gradually appearing on the market.
Arny Praht, a family-owned eco—brand of bags and backpacks from St. Petersburg, deserves attention - its creators are trying to minimize the harmful effects on the environment and wildlife.
