Life without heels

«Shoes of Russia», the first public company of the Russian fashion retail, notes an increase in sales of low-running shoes (without heels). According to the results of the 1st half of the year, the share of such shoes in retail sales in pairs exceeded 70%. Low-running shoes include semi-sport style models (sneakers, half-sneakers, sneakers, etc.), casual (loafers, slip-ons, espadrilles, etc.), as well as classics (ballet flats, oxfords, etc.).

 


"We have been seeing an increase in the popularity of comfortable shoes without heels for several seasons in a row. This is a global trend, which is also reflected in the Russian market, comments Elena Khvorova, Head of the purchasing and sales department of the group of companies "Shoes of Russia". – Sales are growing in all categories of low-running shoes. If we compare the 1st half of 2017 and 2018, the share of such shoes in retail sales in pairs increased from 65 to 71%. 

 


In the stores of «Shoes of Russia» low-running shoes are in the collections of all major brands – Westfalika, Pedestrian, Rossita, Emilia Estra and Lisette. The company is also developing a separate brand in the shop-in-shop format all.go – these are semi-sport and casual style shoes (sneakers, sneakers, etc.). Branded racks all.go are presented in the retail chains of the Group.
