"Legpromforum" has determined the vector of movement of the industry
part 1part 2
On the second day of the Week, the 2nd International Scientific and Practical Symposium on the Science of Textile Production took place: the latest industry scientific developments in the field of technical textiles and practical experience in their application. Summing up the results of the symposium, it can be stated that the current trends in the social development of Russia indicate the need to expand the participation of the business community in the management of the industry scientific and technical complex at all its levels. The community of manufacturers and researchers allows us to work for the future. The result of the cooperation will be an increase in the pace of promotion of innovative products of the industry to the domestic and international markets.
The core of such interaction in the industry, as many participants of the symposium noted, can and should be Soyuzlegprom, which has the largest information resources about textile manufacturers and scientific developments in the industry in Russia, as well as opportunities for interaction with government agencies. Such a transition to the production-state system of organizing scientific and technical cooperation will allow not only to quickly link the needs of production and the possibilities of science into a single structural scheme, but also significantly increase the efficiency of scientific developments.
The next day, the topic of equipment was continued by the plenary round table "New technologies and equipment for light industry". Yulia Grukhanova, Deputy Director of the Department of Stationary Equipment at Deutsche Leasing Vostok, as well as representatives of a number of foreign companies focused on the advantages of leasing forms of purchasing/using textile equipment. Schemes of this kind, in comparison with traditional import deliveries, are less expensive and more expeditious in terms of implementation. In addition, leasing conditions are simpler and relevant applications are processed faster than loan applications.
The growing demand for the renewal of fixed assets of the industry, as noted at the Legpromforum, is due to their high level of wear and tear. Which is only partially offset by the import of textile equipment. In addition, the implementation of almost all industry projects planned for the current and subsequent years involves the use of mainly foreign technologies. And this, in turn, puts on the agenda the issues of localization of equipment production in Russia. In other words, the issues of the forum were at the junction of interrelated issues of technological support for the Russian light industry.
On the topic of localization, a separate round table was specially organized "Localization of production in Russia and the creation of textile clusters", which was attended by business representatives from the Ivanovo, Novosibirsk, Oryol region, St. Petersburg, as well as "Business Russia", RAO "Bumprom".;, «Ivanovo Polyester Complex» and other companies in the industry.
Round tables "Stimulating the interest of retail business in working with Russian manufacturers of textile and light industry" and "Opportunities for interaction of Russian manufacturers in the format of multi-brand stores" gathered more than 150 participants, and 15 largest Russian and foreign retail chains took part in the trade and procurement session held after the meeting. 40 manufacturers of home textiles, knitwear, men's, women's and children's clothing (including school uniforms), hosiery. In total, more than 150 meetings were held.
According to Yevgeny Ryzhov, Director of the Department for the Development of Domestic Trade, Light Industry and Legalization of Product Turnover of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, localization of light industry production and its implementation in retail chains is still a priority for the development of the industry. The Ministry of Industry and Trade continues to actively invite retailers to a dialogue.
As a result of last year, the networks "Decathlon" and "Sportmaster" on average increased the presence of Russian-made goods by 10% in total volume. And for the Inditex holding, a roadmap was drawn up, which included a list of regional enterprises, which will host a tour for ZARA this spring.
Once again, the topic of import substitution was discussed. Boris Yudin, Chairman of the Soyuzlegprom Trade Committee, said: "The purpose of the event is to develop a common position on import substitution and the development of competitive Russian enterprises. Over the past year, thanks to the joint efforts of the state, in particular, the systematic work of the specialized departments of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, active proposals from manufacturing enterprises and increased interest from retail, there has been an increase in the number of suppliers, an expansion of the product range and the share of Russian-made goods on the shelves of chain retailers. But the problems that need to be solved remain - this is the search for a reasonable balance of price and quality of the supplied products, the significant presence of counterfeit products in all groups of goods, with which it is extremely difficult to compete, the shortage of working capital with long delays in payment for the delivered goods, the difficult position of banks when allocating loans and expensive logistics.
Summing up, we can say that the Russian Textile and Light Industry Week has demonstrated its importance as a leading exhibition and business platform for demonstrating the achievements of the textile and light industry in Russia, as well as a center for developing measures to ensure the sustainable development of the industry.
