On June 7–10, 2018, the III International Economic Forum of the Amber region AMBERFORUM-2018 will be held in the city of Svetlogorsk. The event was organized by Kaliningrad Amber Combine JSCwith the support of the Government of the Kaliningrad Region.

The International Amber Industry Forum was held for the first time in 2016, bringing together industry experts from Russia and a number of other countries. This is the only major platform dedicated to the development and promotion of the amber brand in Russia.

Purpose of the event to unite industry professionals and related industries, representatives of business and science to create new projects, to discuss the unique properties and capabilities of amber, as well as to reveal the issues of promotion of Russian amber producers to the world market.

The audience of AMBERFORUM-2018 is constantly growing: in 2018, the Forum is preparing to host more than 3,000 people, which is twice as much as last year's figures.

Among the visitors are manufacturers of amber products, representatives of the authorities of the Kaliningrad region and the federal level, educational and scientific organizations, professional communities, as well as residents of Kaliningrad and tourists from other cities and countries.

The business program is divided into four thematic days  – «Technologies. Innovation. Investments», «Regional branding», «Jewelry and fashion industries», «Art and culture». More than 50 speakers will take part in the programs and events.

A rich youth program has been prepared for students, young designers, aspiring businessmen and other visitors. Various master classes, business games, workshops, and a competition of young masters.

For 1,500 sq. m. There will be an exhibition in which more than 10 participating countries will place their stands.

At the exhibition, everyone will be able to get acquainted with Russian and foreign amber products, and well-known representatives of the amber industry will be able to exchange experience and technologies. Such a format will ensure effective interaction between participants, the state, business and end consumers.

The Forum will also host an educational program for children, a professional skill contest WorldSkillsRussiaon the competence of "Amber processing", a contest of author's works designed to determine the best masters of amber processing.

The cultural program of the eventincludes a lawn tennis tournament for representatives of the jewelry industry, the art space "Amber unites people" with a large concert program, street food, contests and much more other.
