Fashion retailer Hennes & Mauritz created the brand COS (Collection of Style) in 2007. Since then, it has been consistently popular with numerous fans of "minimalist chic", located at the junction of the mass market and the premium segment. The opening of the brand's first Russian store has been discussed since 2016. H&M Group has been choosing a location for a long time, in contrast to its western strategy of network development in street retail, preferred renting in the Afimall City shopping center .
The area of the new store on the second floor of the main atrium of the shopping center is 540 sq. m. Natural materials in the decoration and functional interior design of the boutique are in harmony with the style of the brand's collections in the spirit of Scandinavian minimalism.
Here are the collections of the fall 2018–winter 2019 season for the whole family, as well as shoes, bags and other accessories. The same collections are sold in monostores all over the world. They are made of natural fabrics using innovative materials, and organic silhouettes are inspired by natural and urban landscapes.
In the European market, COS refers to middle-class brands, in Russia, taking into account the exchange rate difference, logistics, taxes, etc., prices are higher and more likely to correspond to middle-up or premium.So the approximate cost of a coat will be 25,000 rubles, cashmere products 11,000 rubles, shirts, about 7000 rubles, wool knitwear about 6000 rubles.
The COS network is represented in 40 countries around the world and consists of almost 200 offline stores and 19 online stores.
