Chinese landing on CJF
On the second day of the exhibition "CJF- Children's fashion. Autumn 2018" much attention was paid to the topic of trade and cooperation of Russian entrepreneurs with Chinese partners. The exhibition dedicated to children's fashion and goods for children traditionally attracts Chinese manufacturers to Moscow. This year, against the background of the trade ban in the USA on a number of goods for children and women produced by China, the influx of neighbors interested in trading with us has increased many times.
Many events were held today dedicated to the specifics of trade and partnership between Russian entrepreneurs and Chinese manufacturers. Educational and educational forums for medium and small businesses were proposed, which then smoothly flowed into a discussion.At the II Forum "Russia -China: New Opportunities for Sustainable business development" held by the consulting company Between2countries together with JSC "Expocentre", the most pressing issues of trade and cooperation between our entrepreneurs have been discussed. A good and detailed presentation by the managing partner of Between2countries Leila Pavlova was aimed at explaining to Russians their typical mistakes when concluding contracts and doing business with Chinese factories and suppliers.
The speech raised a lot of questions, as the domestic entrepreneurs who attended the forum were personally familiar with the specifics of doing business in this country. One of the major trade representatives of the Russian region complained that even a personal visit to forums and exhibitions in PRC (she has just returned from Shanghai) has practically zero business option.
In order to be successful in the development of trade, it is necessary to take into account the mentality of the eastern neighbor, his manner of conducting transactions and even the hidden mechanisms of deception of a gullible novice entrepreneur from Russia. We will introduce in detail in the following publications the topic of this forum . Now we note the main thing: the Chinese government is changing quickly and flexibly and is turning towards a reliable entrepreneur from Russia. For example, you can have a loan if you prove your successful annual turnover for three years, it is much more profitable to take a loan from Chinese factories or Chinese credit institutions than from Russian ones. Also in the PRC, the quality standards of goods have noticeably increased and now the production is obliged to have its own laboratory for checking the quality of goods, and our entrepreneur can apply for a certificate and verification in special independent laboratories. Understanding the whole chain of necessary actions, having tactics and strategy of partnership with Chinese manufacturers, it is possible to achieve success even in difficult times for our business.
Nevertheless, the Chinese themselves complained about difficulties with trading in Of Russia. Present at the forum Anton Gao, a representative of the Chinese NiceDay - a large factory of hygiene products for children and women lamented that they invest a lot of money in showing their products on Ali Baba, on the Internet -yes, but there is no reaction to this from the Russians. The Chinese businessman lamented that he did not understand how to find contacts with Russian sellers, how to build a business with Russia. Fortunately, it is at such forums that the opportunity to shake hands and sit down to make a deal with a real business takes place, so all Chinese representatives participate in this exhibition with great hope.
