"Art Exhibition in the Internet age"
May 28 at the CSI "Winery" philosopher and art theorist Boris Groys invited the audience to reflect on the phenomenon of an art exhibition in the Internet era.
Art is able to confront the viewer with new, unexpected and even shocking phenomena. And the Internet offers content that matches user tastes and habits. On the Internet, art becomes information about art, mixed with gigabytes of information about the latest events that we receive daily. How will this affect art forms?
The Higher School «Learning Environment » continues a series of meetings with curators, artists and collectors, participants of the large-scale phenomenon «Contemporary Russian art » in order to mark the boundaries of this phenomenon with their eyes and their voice, describe its features, name names, show key works and affirm its international cultural value.
Curators of the program: artist Dmitry Vrubel and artist Arseniy Zhilyaev.
