We continue to talk about the key models of women's clothing of the spring-summer 2019 season together with expert Galina Kravchenko.

SKIRTS

In skirts, as well as in dresses, the key trend will remain the midi length and the asymmetrical hem. Pleated skirts are a must have in any girl's wardrobe. Only the width of the folds has changed - from medium to as wide as possible.

As for the incisions, this season the deeper the incision, the better, you can even go up to the middle of the thigh. For a festive outing, models are designed entirely in sequins, with an interesting pattern or with a print.

TROUSERS AND OVERALLS

Mid-calf length is a key trend in SS19 season trousers. The main models: one-color capris from the 60s and culottes extended downwards, resembling the bottom of a gode skirt. For full-length trousers, stylized 9/10 sports models will become significant, which will be well combined in one image, for example, with ballet flats in the style of Manolo Blahnik or with long gloves above the elbow.

Pantsuits will be made in a new format of costume fabric.

SUITS AND JACKETS

Next season, suits will remain relevant, both with trousers and with a skirt. The focus is on baggy designs, for example, an extra-loose suit with elongated sleeves and creases on the trousers. In some models, a rather unexpected decor appears: a double-breasted jacket with a vo­­­ lan in combination with a button-down skirt in front.

The main element of business style – jacket – becomes a real must have of the season and passes into all style groups – from sports to evening. The proof of this is bright jackets with provocative prints and patterns. The most advanced brands offer to wear a classic jacket on the naked body, with a bustier or with a bodysuit and leggings. More traditional brands recommend combining jackets with any bottom: joggers, midi skirts and even tights (if the jacket is elongated and imitates a dress).

OUTERWEAR

The athleisure style is present in almost every kind of outerwear assortment. However, thanks to the textured jacquard and shimmering satin in delicate shades, the models remain feminine.

For more extravagant fashionistas, a satin maxi-length robe coat is offered on a belt with a turn-down shirt stand-up collar.
