Swimwear: trends of 2018

Beach fashion largely repeats everyday fashion, favorite trends wander from dusty cities to hot countries. The non-standard choice of fabric is becoming a defining trend.

Velvet. A few years ago, probably, no one would have thought of sewing swimwear from velvet. The priority for many years has been for a smooth, quick-drying biflex. However, as they say, science does not stand still. Modern synthetic-based velvet is a fairly thin and fast-drying material.

With sequins. This brilliant – literally and figuratively – trend has come and is quite firmly entrenched in bathing fashion. It is often chosen by celebrities, as well as ordinary women who want every day at sea to be a holiday.

Made of corrugated fabric. This trend is relatively rare, but premium brands have paid a lot of attention to it this season.

With curly cutouts.Swimwear with curly cutouts can be called a universal trend. It is enough to look at the swimwear of the USSR times to assess the stability of this trend.

Striped.The stripe is also not a new trend, but it confidently occupies its positions and is leading for the second year in a row. The trend has its roots as far back as tsarist Russia.

With print.Printed swimwear has always been popular everywhere. But if earlier it was mainly floral prints, now birds, animals and even the President are on trend.
