Dmitry Shishkin: we need to dress the country

The famous Yekaterinburg fashion designer, the creator of the Tailor's Manufactory under his own name, Dmitry Shishkin will soon become a resident of Skolkovo. In addition, the designer is preparing to launch a chain of stores.

"We want to open an office in Skolkovo and, using the resident status, have access to all opportunities," Dmitry explained. These include scientific laboratories, business communities, the possibility of receiving tax and customs benefits, grants. This is the ideal soil for nurturing innovative projects.

Shishkin also added that he has many projects, but due to the fact that work in factories is constantly boiling, there is simply not enough time, effort and resources for their implementation.

In autumn Dmitry Shishkin launches the third clothing factory. Two existing ones work "to order", making elite classics and sportswear. The new production will create clothes exclusively under its own brand. The factory will be opened in Yekaterinburg, moreover, in maximum proximity to the center.

Next year, the designer plans to start developing a network of flagship stores. Since the clothes will be delivered to the masses, the middle segment and the middle plus will be represented in the stores.

"We are still finalizing the concept. We don't like to sew economy and mass market," Dmitry summed up. Those who need an exclusive, let them come to our production and order. We need to dress the country and the entire middle class, so we will sew something else, at the HENDERSON level, for example.
