The Russian developer Luxe Retail has offered the market an updated cash register program POSX, which provides retail chains with ample opportunities for marketing work with customers.

The developer company recommends that retail chains use a second monitor instead of the buyer's display as the most effective approach. Replacing a small two-line display showing only the name of the product, its cost and the amount of the receipt with a full-fledged monitor in combination with an updated cash register program will give technologically advanced retailers serious advantages, including:

  • visibility of information about the current purchase, when the buyer can see the full list of their products with the cost and discounts until the moment of payment;
  • the opportunity to demonstrate special offers, commercials and other bright multimedia content in the checkout area, which focuses the attention of customers, makes their stay in stores emotionally saturated, encourages people to make the next purchases.

The program POSX after the update will be able to successfully ensure the full operation of the cash register with two monitors and centralized management of the retailer's marketing activity at the cash node in real time.

Of course, the new functionality entails higher requirements for cash register equipment, but there is already a large selection of cash registers on the market designed to work with two monitors.
