Yulia Ivanova, a well-known designer, member of the National Academy of Fashion Industry, a regular participant of MBFWRussia, headed the jury of the competition show of the 9th Festival of Household services and crafts "Ok seasons".
The festival opened on December 1, 2017 in the Ryazan region. The festival was organized by the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Ryazan Region, a non-profit partnership of the Ryazan Regional Chamber of Service and Crafts Enterprises with the support of the National Academy of Fashion Industry under the leadership of V.M. Zaitsev. More than 90 people took part in the festival.
44 author's clothing collections by designers of the Ryazan region and other regions in 7 nominations were presented at the competitive show within the framework of the festival. The collections were evaluated by a professional jury, which included designers, members of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia, members of the Union of Designers of the Russian Federation, the International Association "Union of Designers", the International Federation of Artists. The chairman of the jury, Yulia Ivanova, noted that an incredible atmosphere of creativity, beauty and love for the traditions of her region reigned at all the venues of the festival.

"At the exhibition of products of folk arts and crafts, I saw absolutely unique and original things. It is really very important to preserve and popularize traditional folk crafts for the regions. It is incredibly gratifying that the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the region, including the governor, understand this and provide the necessary support. Looking through the competitive shows, I noticed for myself how much the author's collections of clothes and accessories are really attempts to comprehend the historical experience of the region (traditional textures, methods of decoration, silhouette solutions) and adapt it to the realities of modern life. I sincerely hope that the attentive attitude and development of the artistic traditions of the region will not only develop, but also really transform these traditions into very modern and relevant garments and accessories that are in demand by consumers not only in Russia, but also in the world.Yulia Ivanova
