"Thermopol" held a series of lectures on textiles at Moscow State University

Within the framework of industrial partnership and SEASONS tech acceleration programs in The Lomonosov Moscow State University Higher School of Business held a series of lectures on the development of technical textiles in Russia. Nonwovens factories «Thermopol» presented the developing concept«Fossil textiles», analysis of polyrecycling capabilities of technical textiles, as well as proposals made by the manufacturer in the «Strategy for the development of textile and light industry», related to modern materials science, the creation of non-woven products of a new universal and multifunctional type.

Students and teachers of Lomonosov Moscow State University received an invitation to conduct research and experimental implementations on the basis of the real production sector on the tasks formulated by the company "Thermopol".

Comments on the representative of the company «Thermopol» Ph.D. Vladislav Ivanov: "Among the most important tasks is digitalization, integrated solutions in the field of creating energy-efficient materials, products and objects using non-woven fiber-based systems "Holofiber".

As part of the lectures, cases were considered on the development and implementation of nonwovens in innovative medical products, for use in the Arctic and Antarctic, in outer space. Special attention was paid to efficient non-woven construction technologies, transportation and processing of hydrocarbon raw materials, composite-based materials.

In recent years, nonwoven fabric plants "Thermopol" have been conducting systematic research work at leading metropolitan and regional universities. Developing scientific, educational and production partnership, "Thermopol"supports a number of projects in various regions of the Russian Federation today. These include "Kosygin Russian State University Hackathon", projects "Legpromnauka", international symposiums Smartex and Scientific andproduction partnership", research and implementation of N.G. Chernyshevsky SSU, KNTU, IvPSU and others.

Industrial lectures «Thermopol» at Lomonosov Moscow State University preceded the festival cycle «Russian Seasons» (founder – designer Daria Matsievskaya) and a long-term program support of innovative projects in the field of light industry SEASONS tech, which is carried out with the support of the company "Innopraktika". More than 200 applications were received for participation in the program, of which the organizers selected 80. The best participants will be trained as part of the acceleration program and upon its completion will present their projects as part of the Investor Day. 3 projects with maximum business potential will receive grants for development.

Technical textiles, located at the junction of intersectoral technologies, today receives the widest opportunities for implementation. The project topics include:universal multifunctional nonwovens with the functions of thermal insulation, fire resistance and self-regulation; clothing that helps visually impaired people navigate in space; solutions to protect the environment from pollution in the production of clothing; an application for optimizing the assortment. «Thermopol» together with students of Lomonosov Moscow State University joined both as an ordinary participant of the project and as a mentor in the competence of "nonwovens".
