Holofiber and Bosco

At the construction site of the new sewing complex Bosco in the Kaluga region, negotiations were held between the project manager of the Bosco Manufactory Andrey Churaev and the head of the company Thermopol Victor Gontar. The heads of the enterprises discussed the possibilities of cooperation, the development of new types of products using high-tech nonwovens Holofiber and support for import substitution initiatives in the textile and light industry.

Domestic manufacturers from the top league plan to unite on the area of the sewing micro-city with an area of 16,000 sq. m. m Russian manufacturers of fabrics, accessories, insulation and fillers. The total team of the project will be about 1,000 employees.

Today, a wide range of knitted and insulated products is sewn at the Bosco manufactories in the Kaluga region, in-line sewing and experimental workshops are equipped with equipment from leading manufacturers. The opening of the new factory is scheduled for May 2019. Currently, new types of products are being developed Bosco, which in a full cycle will reflect the ideology of "Made in Russia". In accordance with the plans of the companies, the consumer – not only domestic, but also foreign, the embassy project is also focused on export, – will receive more than 3.5 million knitted and 120 thousand high-quality outerwear products per year. Bosco plans to produce uniforms for pioneer camps in Kaluga, including for the flagship project "Artek".

Also, Mikhail Kusnirovichnoted that it is planned to produce not only T-shirts, hoodies, polos, but also down jackets, since Russia is a northern country where this type of clothing is extremely in demand.
