The Thermopol plant was awarded at Smartex

According to the results of the competition "Legpromnauka", held within the framework of the International Scientific and Practical Forum Smartex, a special award was awarded to a comprehensive study "Approaches to improving the thermal insulation properties of clothing: "the following steps», technologies, innovations», conducted with the participation of a young scientist, a graduate student of the Kosygin Russian State University Elena Mezentseva in scientific and production cooperation with specialists of nonwovens factories «Thermopol» (Moscow).

The competition Commission also noted another scientific work by E.V. Mezentseva, created in line with the direction of "forcing innovation", "strong>"Methods of creating thermal insulating self-regulating fiber systems in smart clothesraquo;. This is part of the research that formed the basis of the industrial project Holofiber® A1, which today produces thermal packages with membrane properties for insulated clothing with Thermal Control function.

The organizers of the competition: The Scientific Research Technological Center at Soyuzlegprom, Ivanovo State Polytechnic University and the Institute of Solution Chemistry of the Russian Academy of Sciences named after G.A. Krestov with the support of the ONF, Rosmolodezh and other state, public, commercial and industrial organizations.

The scientific and practical forum Smartex was held at Ivanovo State Polytechnic University for the 21st time. Smartex repeatedly emphasizes the importance of scientific research and industrial implementation of thermal insulation technologies for the Russian Federation, the further development of Arctic materials science, the introduction of products using technical textiles, technologies "the next step". The main problem of modern Russian industry at the Forum was called "ideological advance, technological lag," as well as the inability to implement breakthrough ideas, inertia in decision-making, inefficient communication of science, business and production.

The laureate scientific research on thermal insulation of clothing and materials is published in the collection "Physics of fibrous materials: structure, properties, high-tech technologies and materials".

The next significant events for the research and production community of the light industry will be the V International Scientific and Technical Conference "Design, Technologies and Innovations in the Textile and Light Industry" (Innovations-2018, November 14, November 15, A.N. RSU Kosygina) and the IV Scientific and Industrial Symposium of Soyuzlegprom (March 19–22), which will be held as part of the "Russian Textile Week" at the "Expocenter".
