Interview with Tatiana Zatravina in "MM"

Tatiana Zatravina, CEO and founder of Ecolife LLC and premium knitwear brand FREE AGE, answered 10 personal questions especially for Fashion magazine.

– Which of the famous people of the present and the past do you look like, who is close to you?
Of the famous people, I would prefer to compare myself with Gabrielle Chanel. A little audacious, but I don't mean historical heritage and unconditional talent, but rather purposefulness and independence. I, like her, don't want to be in debt to anyone. I appreciate Chanel for her veiled patronage, respect and support for true talent, for the desire to be loved, for originality and hard work, for the ability to bring beauty and harmony into a woman's life. All this is very close to me. And how not to believe in fate after that: we were both born on August 19th.

– What do you know how to do best?
– Probably work (laughs). I'm really good at it.

– Is your favorite book or movie?
– I am very interested in people. I don't enjoy fantasy or detective stories. I am interested in everything related to historical facts or bio-
graphs, real stories of people. They can be generals, artists, politicians, designers, merchants, villains and righteous, housewives and socialites. I don't have my favorite book that I would reread several times. I'm not very good at remembering dates and sequences of plots, but I remember everything at the level of experiences and emotions. The most striking books I have read recently are the novel by Margaret Mazzantini "Born Twice" and "The Furious Marchioness" biography of Marchioness Louise Casati.

– Your favorite dish?
– I am a meat eater. And while it is very difficult for me to imagine life without a good steak twice a week.
