"SUPPORT OF RUSSIA" – Tatiana Zatravina
Tatiana Zatravina, CEO and owner of the company «Ecolife» from St. Petersburg, a member of the "SUPPORT OF RUSSIA", wants to give personal example and experience determination in choosing their path to all those who do not risk taking the first step towards your dream.
Tatiana has been in business for more than 20 years. According to her, it so happened that her business path coincided with the formation of business in our country as a whole. She organized her first company in 1996, but two years later it ceased to exist. Despite the mistakes and failures, Tatiana started more and more new projects, she was driven by the desire to manage her time independently, be useful to the family and, of course, become an example for her children. At first, she decided to go the easy way and became a distributor of foreign manufacturers in the Russian market, but soon realized that this was not exactly what she wanted to devote her life to. The inability to influence the quality, pricing policy and the product as a whole gave rise to the desire to create your own product. Therefore, 10 years ago, after the birth of her second daughter, Tatiana organized a design studio and began to produce her own collections and place orders at production sites in Uzbekistan (it was there that the main raw materials for production grew).
Her company «Ecolife» has been operating since 2006 and is successfully developing to this day. Today, this innovative manufacturing enterprise, equipped with Japanese knitting equipment, produces modern, comfortable, affordable and, most importantly, high-quality children's clothing. As a mother and a direct consumer of her products, Tatiana is the main critic and the main driving force behind the development of this project.
Since 2012, the company «Ecolife» is among the largest contract manufacturers and importers of children's clothing. And in 2013, she became the holder of the largest portfolio of children's licenses, including Disney, Mattel, Universal, Warner Brothers, Masha and the Bear, Fixies, Minions, Barbie, etc.
In 2015 Tatiana launched a new project – her own brand of premium children's clothing called FREE AGE, to which she directed all her accumulated experience and budget. Finally, in January 2016, the light saw the project, which, according to her, she is especially proud of, knitting production in St. Petersburg. Immediately, the products were highly appreciated «No.1 Made in Russia".
According to Tatiana, she is proud of her project not only because of the achieved business result, but also because thanks to it, in-demand, high-quality and affordable products for children come to the market, for which she feels personally responsible. And also because its employees, the main number of whom, by the way, are women, have ample opportunities for development and access to the most modern technologies in light industry. Tatiana notes that they work on domestic raw materials and at the same time are in no way inferior to Western manufacturers.
But even experienced entrepreneurs, despite all the way, Tatiana believes, need the support of public organizations, the state and the professional community. For successful development, it is very important to be able to exchange experiences, ideas and accumulated knowledge. And, of course, the businesswoman calls family support the key point. She believes that, looking at the example of her mother, her children will be able to choose their life path correctly, respect work, create and create for the benefit of society.
