International Exhibition of Light and Textile Industry «Fashion Industry»  will be held in St. Petersburg from October 10 to 13, 2018 at the new exhibition site of the Exhibition Center «EXPOFORUM» with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Administration of St. Petersburg. Organizer – IN «FAREXPO».

«Fashion Industry»   the only industry exhibition in the North-West region. This season, the event is held in an updated format and provides its participants with new opportunities of the EXPOFORUM professional platform, which meets the most modern international standards. The new concept, developed jointly with leading buying experts, is aimed only at the professional visitor. The exhibition area will be divided into two zones.

The buyer's zone is designed for wholesale buyers who are ready to place an order for their store. A program has been prepared for buyers, taking into account the interests of representatives of multi-brand retail chains.In this zone there will be a poster exhibition presenting the new collections of the exhibition participants.

At the Buyer Consult Workshop, practicing experts will share their own experience in solving the most pressing problems. In particular, Arsen Ohanyan, the owner and director of the M63 boutique, will talk about the labeling of goods, as well as about the transportation and delivery of cargo. Yana Zavyalova, Executive Director of the SODA Group of companies, who has 17 years of experience in the fashion business, will share the specifics of working with different groups of suppliers and the secrets of managing the store. How to get out of the online shadow, stylist Svetlana Starostina, ex-director of the company "Vis-a-vis", will tell.

The site will have a Lounge zone, a business navigator. Buyers will be offered trend-guided tours with leading market experts who will help form an assortment taking into account the specifics of the outlet.

The area for specialists will be open to all professional visitors working in the fashion industry. outsourcing zone will be presented here, where enterprises will offer their services in sewing clothes to order in small series.At the START UP platform, young entrepreneurs will present new fashion business ideas that require support. Another novelty of the season deserves special attention – POP-UP STORE a zone where stands of young designers, small artisans representing leather goods and accessories are located.

For the 20th time, the Competition of young designers "Generation NEXT" will be held. Students and graduates of more than 20 specialized educational institutions participate in the project.

In this zone there will be daily displays of the collections of the exhibition participants (a show for clothing manufacturers from St. Petersburg is provided free of charge). 

Traditionally, the exhibition hosts the Fashion Industry Economic Forum, an open discussion space for discussing the development of the fashion industry, fashion trends, principles of doing business with leading professionals and experts of the fashion market.
