Luxe Retail organizes the IT structure of "Ridiculous prices"

The chain of stores «Funny prices» has started a project to update the technological platform of its trading business. The new IT infrastructure of the network is based on the developments of the company Luxe Retail.

«Funny prices» – is a chain of stores with a wide range of everyday goods, including men's, women's and children's clothing and shoes. At the end of 2018, the company's management decided to replace outdated IT systems of its own design with an industrial technology platform that would be scalable, support the active development of the network and ensure the functioning of its business processes at a qualitatively different level. The choice was made in favor of the developments of the company Luxe Retail, one of the leaders in the field of information technology for the retail business in Russia. Since 2001, the services of Luxe Retail have been used by leading domestic and foreign retailers, and the company's software pool covers the entire range of trade processes.

The basis of the modern IT infrastructure of the network "Ridiculous prices" are two key solutions of Luxe Retail: the trade management system TradeX and the cash program POSX.

The commodity accounting system TradeX is a kind of "brain" of the retailer's infrastructure and is aimed at managing sales, pricing, settlements with suppliers, formation and tracking of orders, movement of goods between outlets, discounts and discount programs, other urgent tasks of the network and a separate store. The system takes into account the requirements of legislation and market regulators for the organization of trade, provides the management of the trading network with both accounting and analytical capabilities.

All sales operations are conducted in the cash register program POSX. It can be called the "heart" of the retailer, which must work smoothly so that sales in stores do not stop for a minute. The program operates in online and offline modes, so even in the event of a communication failure with the central office, the cash registers of the stores continue to work, and information about the operations performed is transmitted to the commodity accounting system immediately after the Internet connection is restored. At the same time, POSX is characterized by high performance: prompt loading of an extensive catalog of goods to the checkout, instant activation, instant receipt printing, which speeds up the work of cashiers, reduces customer service time and reduces queues at cash desks.

Luxe Retail also supplies chains with "Ridiculous prices" modern cash register equipment. It is planned to develop cooperation between the companies, in particular in terms of the use of mobile applications in the retail network.
