The project "Fashion Alliance of Creative Industries of Primorye" ("M.A.K.I. Primorye") announced the launch of a competitive selection for grants to support and develop regional brands.Registration for the contest will last until November 7, 2023 at 10:00 Moscow time. To participate, you must fill out a questionnaire on the contest website.

The winners will have the opportunity to prepare a collection for entry into federal retail, namely into the Department Store chain of Russian Designers SLAVA concept. These are 3 stores /corners in St. Petersburg, Samara and the Moscow region for a period of 4 months. In addition, everyone will receive a certificate for 2 million rubles. for the purchase of raw materials, the production of clothing, the creation of advertising and information materials and more.

"Participants will be given access to the markets of other regions and the opportunity to declare themselves and the brand, and federal mentors will help create a commercial collection and scale the business. The partner is a chain of department stores of Russian designers SLAVA, represented in seven regions of the country," — said the head of the project "M.A.K.I. Primorye" Natalia Karpova.

Designers who are small and medium–sized businesses (sole proprietors or LLC), registered on the territory of Primorsky Krai and on the Digital Platform of SMEs can become participants - smes.rf, and also conduct activities in the following areas: manufacture of clothing, repair of clothing and textile products, specialized activities in the field of design (listed OKVED codes: 14; 95.29.1; 74.10).

"There has never been an event of this format and scale in Russia yet, – comments Alexander Peremyatov, President of Magic Group, creator of the SLAVA concept. – Today it is more relevant than ever within the framework of the vector for import substitution. We constantly talk about this topic at all levels, but it is important to understand that there is only one way to support the fashion industry: to help its representatives, designers - to earn. Only by participating in real business processes, competing with each other, winning their customers in direct communication, they will grow, develop and will eventually be able to replace the products of the most popular brands that have passed away, and in the future win their rightful place in the world of fashion."

The competition will be held in several stages:

• applications are collected until 07.11;

• 08.11 – the jury will select and announce 20 semi-finalists, form and submit the terms of reference for the development of the collection: men's, children's, women's clothing, accessories and bags.

Maxim Andreev, founder of the Ruskultprom project. Member of the Union of Journalists of Moscow. Winner of the International Award Eventiada IPRA GWA;

Irina Gorbunova, Brand Director of the Federal Chain of Department Stores of Russian Designers SLAVA concept;

Olga Orlova, brand manager of the Federal chain of Department Stores of Russian Designers SLAVA concept. Fashion expert. Member of the Union of Russian buyers.

Maxim Lymaria, Head of the Commercial Department of the Federal Chain of Department Stores of Russian Designers SLAVA concept.

• an intensive training program for participants will be held until 18.11;

• until 23.11, participants will be provided with the help of mentors – specialists on all organizational and work issues.

• On 23.11, fashion shows of the final models will be held as part of the Fashion Industries Forum in Vladivostok, where the jury will determine 5 winners.
