"ROOK. WINTER FAIRY TALE-2016"
Today in Moscow, in the Central Exhibition Center "EXPOCENTRE" on Krasnaya Presnya, in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd halls of Pavilion 1, the exhibition "ROOK" began its work. WINTER FAIRY TALE-2016".
This is the largest folk art exhibition in the country. It will once again delight Muscovites and guests of the capital on the eve of the New Year holidays with the products of over 1,500 craft organizations, creative associations, individually working craftsmen and artists from 65 regions of the Russian Federation.
By tradition, the world-famous folk art centers will present their best products: these are Khokhloma and Gorodetsky wood painting, Gzhel and Kislovodsk porcelain, Velikoustyuzhsky black silver, Rostov finifty, Vologda and Yelets lace, Bogorodsky wood carving, Kubachinsky silverware, Kholmogorsky and Tobolsk carved bone, Zhostovsky and Nizhny Tagil metal painting, Skopinsky and Pskov ceramics, Torzhok gold embroidery, weapons of Zlatoust and Moscow masters, Pavlovian cutlery, art weaving, embroidery, amber of the Baltic, etc.
More than 30 regions of the Russian Federation will be represented by collective stands, will acquaint visitors with the history and traditions of their region and will present handicrafts and handicrafts.
Twice a year, the ROOK is a real fairy tale, where every visitor will find stories and images close to themselves, as well as a variety of unusual gifts and souvenirs for the holiday. This is a world of amazing unique beauty of Russian traditional culture, pleasing the eye with the fruits of inspiration of talented and skillful craftsmen! Welcome to the magical world of folk art!
