New collaboration Puma x Les Benjamins
The Turkish streetstyle brand Les Benjamins has become a new partner of Puma within the Select direction. It was founded by Bunyamin Aydin in 2011 in Istanbul. A distinctive feature of the brand is the skillful combination of Turkish national elements with modern trends.
The collaborative collection mixes Western and Turkish aesthetics of streetstyle culture, as well as DNA Les Benjamins. Aydin's passion for travel and photography is reflected in the design of the models. The accent of the collection is the brand logo with a frame resembling the focus point in the camera viewfinder.
The sneaker industry representatives will be most interested in the sneaker models presented in the collection: Thunder Disc, RS-O, SHOKU and Trailfox. Hybrid combinations of the top and unusual details in the form of ethnic ornaments.
Thunder Disc Les Benjamins: hybrid with a top from the Disck Blaze model and a bottom from the Thunder Spectra. The sneakers are created using Puma Disc technology. This is a system for fixing a sneaker without using laces. The model is decorated with suede colored inserts and traditional Turkish ornament on the sides. Puma Thunder Disc x Les Benjamins were first presented at the street culture exhibition SoleDXB in Dubai on December 6.
RS-O Les Benjamins: the classic silhouette of the RS-X in this model resembles only a massive sole created using the Puma Running System technology. High-top sneakers are made of suede with a textile upper part, which seems to be manually sewn to the base with wide stitches. There is a ribbon at the back, where it is written in large letters Les Benjamins. The model is made in a combination of black, gray and burgundy.
The collection Puma x Les Benjamins also includes clothes and accessories for an active lifestyle: a parka, a windbreaker, a sweatshirt, a T-shirt, a tracksuit, a backpack and a roomy waist bag. The clothes are decorated with the Les Benjamins logo and traditional Turkish ornaments.
Puma x Les Benjamins has been presented since April 6 on the official website of Puma, as well as in the Department Store "Tsvetnoy", TSUME, Outpac and Mint.
